Jaime Carrington

Born in the beautiful Island of Trinidad, Evangelist Jaime N. Carrington migrated to Toronto, Canada at the age of ten. At age fourteen, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior under the Ministry of Pastor Hector Mayers, the former Pastor of the Metropolitan Church of God in Toronto. With much discipleship and mentoring, she became aware of her predestined calling and began to declare with passion, the good news of the Gospel by the age of sixteen.

 

At present, Evangelist Carrington serves under the covering of Pastor and First Lady Richard J. Brown, the founder and Senior Pastors of Kingsway Community Life Center in Toronto, Canada; a dynamic, non-denominational ministry whose vision and commitment is to “Love you back to life and destiny”

 

In 1999, Evangelist Carrington founded “Pursuing Purpose Services”, an evangelistic; Christ centered ministry, which focuses on salvation, holistic empowerment, healing, restoration and deliverance; inspiring individuals to begin “pursuing purpose with the power, passion and presence of God”. Ministering at various seminars, outreach programs, conventions, conferences, and churches, within Canada, the United States and Internationally, Evangelist Carrington has been given a particular anointing and passion for change and empowerment. She desires to express the undiluted word of God through her powerful testimony and is an example of how God can and will use his people to revolutionize this world by living according to “Kingdom Principles”. Delivering the Word of God with power, she possesses an unquenchable fire that will impact each life that witnesses her ministry.

 

Presently, Evangelist Carrington serves as a Probation and Parole Officer with the Ministry of the Solicitor General. Formerly, she worked as a Case Manager / Employment Counselor for JVS Toronto- Youth Reach and Prevention Intervention Toronto (Gang Prevention Program) and she also served as a Youth Service Officer for ten years at the York Detention Centre, a Correctional Secure Detention Facility for at risk youth and young offenders. This experience has allowed her to utilize the skills she’s acquired while earning a Social Service Worker Diploma at Sheridan College, School of Applied Arts and Technology. Her knowledge of the scriptures is a testament to her disciplined study of the word, both at home and at Tyndale University and Seminary, culminating in a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree.

Positioned and released to minister to all ages, genders and races, the Lord has called Evangelist Carrington for such a time as this. She prayerfully welcomes each opportunity to minister the Word of God.
